Here at Audio Knights, we get asked the same questions, about added services, licenses and soforth, so on this page we hope to address our most frequent questions to give you that extra peace of mind, when considering, booking us for your special event.

 

Q. What does your price include?

A. Our price includes everything you need for a good night. Games, Backing Music, Lasers, Multi-Coloured Lighting Effects and our Stage Hazer. We don't have seperate sound & lighting packages, you get what other disco's would call the 'Platinum Package' everytime.

Q. How long do you entertain for?

A. For the kids package you have our services for 2 hrs, 4 hrs for the Teenager's package. All other packages for 5Hrs, but saying that if you need an early set up if you are having a wedding it can be longer.

Q. Do you charge for mileage?

A. We only charge mileage if you live outside our 50mile radius (100 mile round trip). We then calculate using AA roadmap from Nottingham to get you a fair price.

Q. What am I to expect if you do a children's party?

A. We play all appropriate music and party games for that age group. Supply prizes and basically give the parents a little bit of a break.

Q. Are your games safe and fun?

A. Yes they are. They have been tried and tested. We do not use anything that could injure anyone. We also supply prizes too.

Q. Are you legal?

A. Yes we are. We carry the Pro Dub Licence, Public Liability Insurance (PLI), Portable Appliance Certificate (PAT) and we also carry a 'CRB' certificate to work with children, 
and these are all available to you on the day, all you have to do is ask the Dj.

Q. What happens if i want you to play music past midnight?

A. We will place a one off fee for £40.00 and that is to be paid to the Dj and you will be given a receipt. All our Dj's will accomidate your needs.

Q. Some Dj's i've seen turn up in jeans and t-shirts. Do you?

A. No. All our Dj's have a uniform to wear, so we blend in to the background. We have personalized Black t-shirts with Audio Knights on the back, Black trousers or combats and black shoes/trainers. All of our Dj's have black shirts and white ties with the Audio Knights logo on for corporate events and weddings.

Q. Are your Dj's proffesional?

A. Yes we are. None of our Dj's will consume alcohol or drugs. We also have a policy of no eating from the buffet if asked. All our Dj's do not swear or say anything derogatory to your guests and will remain polite throughout. The Dj's come from either an entertainments background or media (t.v/radio) or both.

Q. How will I know you will turn up and not cancel at the last minute?

A. We have a 100% turn up rate. If we cannot cater for your occasion we will tell you when you enquire. We do not go to the highest bidder. Our agreements confirm this and give you the peace of mind you want.

Q. What happens if i want to cancel?

A. If you cancel within 4 weeks of your occasion then you would lose your deposit. Outside the 4 week period, we would return your deposit.

Q. What happens if i want to change the venue, time or something else to do with my original booking?

A. Just give us a call or drop us an email and we will do our best to accomidate your requests, and we haven't failed yet.
