1.Cancellation of your event/occasion must be put in writing. If the client cancels for any reason within less than one month of event/occasion, then the client will forfeit the deposit paid.
2.All events/occasions booked with ‘Audio Knights’ have a standard of 19:00hrs to 00:00hrs. If you require times outside of these please instruct us on the booking form. If you are holding a children’s party then we will accommodate your start and finish time, as we understand that these events sometimes take place during daytime hours.
3‘Audio Knights’ may use their discretion to charge a fee for fuel if mileage is 100 miles or more for a round trip (eg: 50 miles there and 50 miles back) AA route finder will be used to calculate mileage from Nottingham.
4.The Christmas period is designated as 19th December – 30th December inclusive.
5.The New Years Eve period is 31st December – 1st January inclusive.
6.A discount of 20% will be valid for a period of 12mths starting from when client’s agreement has been fullfilled. The discount is activated on the third booking. The client will have to give Audio Knights the pomotional voucher number that was sent after your first fullfilled agreement, when booking your third occasion. (Reviewed and changed 07/09/08)
7.The client will ensure to the best of his/her abilities that ‘Audio Knights’ can gain access to the venue at the latest 60mins before agreed start time, as this will enable us to set up the equipment and carry out system checks.
8.The Client will ensure that ‘Audio Knights’ have made available to them ample power supply for their equipment, which is to be no more than 5mtrs from where said equipment is to be set-up, and complies to HSE standard. Any damage to 'Audio Knights' equipment as a result of faulty electrical sockets will be subject to a charge for repair/replacement.
9.The Client will ensure if the event is to be held in the open air, that all equipment used by ‘Audio Knights’ will be kept under an adequate waterproof shelter to protect the equipment from adverse weather conditions if they arise.
10.If in the unlikely event of the entertainment being canceled after all system checks have been performed by our staff due to adverse weather, or other factors, outwith 'Audio Knights' control, a refund will not be given.
11.The client will effectively take reasonable steps to ensure the safety of ‘Audio Knights’ equipment and staff by way of crowd controls (Verbal Abuse/Physical Abuse) if requested by ‘Audio Knights’ staff on the night.
12.Accidents can sometimes happen, so if the unfortunate does occur by way of willful/unlawful neglect, then ‘Audio Knights’ will reserve the right to pass on the repair/replacement bill to the client.
13.Audio Knights reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions as and when required. (If your booking was made prior to the changes being implimented, you will not be affected).
Peace of Mind for You:
1.‘Audio Knights’ will ensure they have a valid Pro Dub Licence (Public Performance License), which can be seen upon request. We also carry a full PAT certificate for all of our equipment.
2.‘Audio Knights’ will ensure they have valid public liability insurance, which can be seen on request.
3.‘Audio Knights’ will ensure they have a valid ‘Subject To Access’ certificate, which Is a criminal record check, for your peace of mind. This can be produced on request.
4.‘Audio Knights will contact the client 2 weeks and then 3 days before event/occasion for any final touches that you may want to be added, in saying that please feel free to contact us at any time should any queries or more requests arise.
5.‘Audio Knights’ will NOT charge for options concerning smoke machines or lasers. If our staff have to carry equiptment up/down stairs/lift, you will NOT be charged for this.
6.All ‘Audio Knights’ staff will act in a professional and responsible manner during the entire night, be of smart/casual appearance and cater to your requirements for the event/occasion, as described with your booking request form.
